Kelly Cannon serves as the Director of State Advocacy for VHHA, and has been a member of the Advocacy team since 2015. She directs VHHA's advocacy efforts on health care policy issues at the state level through engagement of hospital and health system employees and community stakeholders. Kelly has previously served in nonprofit management and development positions focused on young voters, education, and bereavement. She is a College of William & Mary graduate and a 2007 Fellow of the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership at the University of Virginia, and holds a Certificate in Fund Development from the University of Richmond. Kelly is an active leader in the Junior League of Richmond, and lives in Richmond with her husband Brian and her son Bennett.
