Kelly Parker joined VHHA in March of 2017 as Director of Emergency Preparedness. She brings to this role emergency management experience owed to her previous role as State Hospital Preparedness Coordinator for the Virginia Department of Health (VDH). In that role, she had responsibility for VDH’s portion of the Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP), which includes administration of federal grants supporting the HPP, and Ebola and infectious disease activities implemented by VHHA. She is a summa cum laude graduate of George Mason University where she earned a degree in Healthcare Administration and Policy.
