REVIEW Magazine: Hospital Week (May 2017)

The Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association is pleased to announce the relaunch of REVIEW Magazine as a triannual publication focusing on important health care stories happening throughout the Commonwealth at hospitals, health systems, and the Association. Virginia is blessed to have a high-quality network of health care providers that support public access to health care, achieve medical breakthroughs and advancements, employ thousands of Virginians in good-paying jobs, and generate billions in positive economic contributions to the state. This issue of REVIEW focuses on the important patient quality and safety efforts occurring at hospitals and health systems with support from the VHHA Center for Healthcare Excellence, which was formed in January 2015 at the direction of VHHA’s Board of Directors. Ongoing health care quality and safety work in Virginia is a reflection of the commitment by hospitals and health systems to enhance care that yields positive patient outcomes.
