Laurens Sartoris has served as president of VHHA since December 1988. Prior to joining VHHA, he worked six years as senior attorney for the Division of Legislative Services, Virginia General Assembly. He received his B.A. degree in philosophy in 1967 from The College of William & Mary, and earned his J.D. from the University of Richmond’s School of Law in 1970. He lives in Richmond, Virginia, with his wife Faith. They have two children – grown and gone – kind of.
