2026 Community Benefit Report

Virginia hospitals and health systems provided $4.5 billion in community benefit and other types of community support in the Commonwealth in 2024, according to the 2026 Annual Report on Community Benefit from the Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association. Virginia hospitals also account for $68.8 billion in positive economic impact in the state.
