VHHA’s state advocacy work centers on advancing policies that strengthen Virginia’s hospitals, improve patient outcomes, and ensure sustainable access to care across the Commonwealth. Each year, we engage with state lawmakers, regulatory agencies, and partner organizations to champion strategic investments, support health care workforce development, enhance behavioral health services, and protect hospital financial stability. Our policy priorities reflect the real-world needs of our members and the communities they serve.
